Auburn High Baseball Begins 7A Playoffs Friday

ahs-logo-copy-copyThe Auburn High baseball team will begin the hunt for the 7A baseball championship Friday night at 5:00 CT. Auburn got home field advantage in the first round of the playoffs for becoming 7A Area four champions and will take on Mary Montgomery in round one. Mary Montgomery comes into the match up as the lower seed, but still finished the season with an impressive 21-9 record and finished as 7A Area one runner-up. Auburn also finished the season 21-9 and hopes to stay hot, as they’ve won five in a row. The Tigers and Vikings will play a double header tonight, then play a tiebreaker game Friday at 1:00 if necessary. To see the full 7A playoff bracket, click here.
