We are only 66 days away from the start of Auburn football and today we look at offensive guard, Jeff Lott. After attended East Hall High School in Gainesville, Georgia, Lott is best remembered as being part of coach Pat Dye’s era at Auburn from 1982-1985 and received All-SEC honors in 1984. Not only did Lott start 3 years at Auburn, but also helped the Tigers to 4 straight bowl games, including the 50th Sugar Bowl and 50th Cotton Bowl. Lott is known for being one of the best offensive guards to play for the Tigers, as well as being one of the main blockers for legendary running back, Bo Jackson. Today, you can find Lott teaching Sunday school to kids in low-income neighborhoods.
