The Auburn High Tigers (4-1 overall, 2-1 in region) will get a quick break from region action this Friday night when they take on Mary-Montgomery high at Duck-Samford Stadium. Last season, Auburn High traveld to Mary-Montgomery to take on the Vikings and won 42-14. Auburn’s offense finished the game with 376 total yards, with 239 of those coming on the ground. Mary-Montgomery was limited to just 174 offensive yards, including three lost fumbles.
Mary-Montgomery finished their 2016 season with a 5-5 record, which was not good enough to make the 7A Playoffs. Mary-Montgomery is not having the greatest of seasons so far to say the least. The Vikings are currently 0-5 with losses to UMS Wright, Theodore, Fairhope, Murphy, and Bryant.
