Auburn High Basketball Earns First Win of the 2017-2018 Season

AHS LOGO The Auburn High basketball team was unable to begin their 2017-2018 season with a win in the new Auburn High Gymnasium on Thursday night against Eufaula, but the Tigers were able to earn their first win of the season at Hardaway High School by a 49-40 final score. Christian Brandt led the Tigers with 25 points and eight rebounds, while Preston Cook recorded nine points and seven rebounds.

 

Next, Auburn High will travel to the N2Hoops Invitational in Huntsville, Alabama and play tournament style with schools from around the state of Alabama. That tournament will be played Monday through Wednesday. Their first opponent in the tournament will be Hazel Green High School on Monday night at 6:30.

 

AHS on ESPN TransparentThe next Auburn High basketball broadcast will be Thursday, December 14th against Charles Henderson High School. The girls game will tip off at 6:00 and the boys game will tip off at 7:30.
