AHS Basketball Falls in 7A Area 4 Title Game

By | Auburn High News | No Comments

After claiming both a spot in the 7A Area 4 Title game and home court advantage, Auburn High wasn’t able to pull out a victory for the 7A Area 4 Title Game against Central, as they fell by a final score of 57-43. Fortunately for the Tigers, the loss does not put them out of the running for a state title. By winning their area in the regular season, they automatically clinched a berth at the Regional championship in Montgomery.

Both the boys an girls are scheduled to play THIS THURSDAY in Montgomery, with the girls game tipping at 9:00 against Jefferson Davis High followed by the boys game against familiar foe Robert E. Lee High at 1:30. These games will both be broadcast by Scott Bagwell on ESPN 106.7, and if you’re away from a radio at work, the games will also be streaming online at espnau.com and on the free ESPN 106.7 app.
